Text and music: Thomas Petritsch This arrangement was commissioned by MV St. Johann im Saggautal - chairwoman Verena Peißer, bandleader Franz Koinegg and recorded in spring 2023 as part of an audio/video production. The solo part was performed by Thomas Petritsch, the founder of the band Granada himself. The premiere of the ‘Granada Edition’ for wind orchestra and solo voice (as well as the songs ‘Vom Herz kummt’, ‘Ka Feia’) took place on 21 April 2023. The aim of this new arrangement series is to make hits by outstanding Austrian artists and bands playable for the wind orchestra and thus enable a wide range of music enthusiasts to perform these songs. Info: - Austrian flugelhorn and tenor horn are indispensable in these arrangements. - Musicians also act as background crowd or choir, and body percussion is also integrated into the arrangement of ‘Blüte’.
