Composed for trombone solo and piano, and simply titled “Tango,” this work was created for my students on the occasion of the “prima la musica” competition. 2016 wurde diese Kompostion von Harald Matjaschitz (Posaune/SWR Symphonieorchester) und
Christian Dolcet (Klavier/Konservatorium Graz) auf dem Tonträger „cross section“ verewigt.
At the request of Carsten Svanberg (professor emeritus of trombone at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz), this arrangement for trombone solo and brass instruments was created for a concert tour by the COPENHAGEN BRASS ensemble.
