The Vulkanland stories are primarily intended to encourage joint projects or collaborations between music and primary schools. Two key aspects have been taken into account: firstly, the involvement of a (single) music school class (in this case: saxophones) with just one (single) primary school class can - depending on the circumstances - reduce the organizational hurdle somewhat, and secondly, the scene and music can be rehearsed separately. Experience has shown that combining the two elements can therefore be achieved with very little time. As part of the drawing and craft lessons - with good advance planning - both the stage set and other props can be designed, and texts and dialogues can be incorporated into German lessons, among other things.
Of course, this project also represents a targeted instrument presentation and can also be carried out in cooperation with a music club.
