RANDOM for brass-5-tett
Commissioned by the Grazissimo Brass 5-tett. RANDOM was the first composition that was created after a creative break caused by the standstill during the Corona pandemic. It was a bit like ideas and know-how had to be recaptured. It felt like 1000 styles wanted to be involved in the composition - simply RANDOM - which I ultimately allowed and tried to bring together into a larger whole. Behind the catchy melodies and surprising twists that the piece repeatedly takes, there is a very demanding part - for the performers.
