Description
In the summer of 2025, new compositions on the theme of “kitchen” were created for the project “New Literature for Brass Ensembles.” These short pieces (miniatures) were developed with experts (University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, HMDK Stuttgart, Graz Conservatory, Music Schools Styria & Lower Austria, Liechtenstein Music School, etc.) and presented and performed on September 7, 2025. Miniature 29 features a mix of word rap and a “groovy” motif that gradually develops into a pleasing theme, with the two elements growing together into a refreshing whole.
The project was supported by LSG, MK Gabersdorf, and SKE / austro mechana.
