There is a lot of activity in the queen bee's court. Loud buzzing announces royal sounds before an attack by hornets threatens the bee colony. The bees form up, march to defend the hive and successfully fend off the attack. The triumph is again accompanied by royal sounds.
Wind technique: The pedagogical focus here can be specifically on air flow and articulation (tenuto and staccato), and buzzing is also used in brass instruments. Stylistics: In addition to a fanfare-like character, the young musicians can also be introduced to the characteristics of a Renaissance dance for the first time.
New: The aspect of incorporating the area of music in motion into the earliest orchestral literature and subsequently developing it further step by step is implemented for the first time in this work.
