These editions for (children's) choirs and wind orchestras are not only intended to bring to mind the traditional songs of the German-speaking region, but are also ideal for cooperation between music clubs, choirs, primary schools and kindergartens. In addition to the unique orchestral experience that can be offered to young and young-at-heart singers, this concept also takes into account an “unobtrusive” introduction of instruments: the children discover the variety of instruments that are used in a wind orchestra during the rehearsal together can be used.
Cast: Care was taken to ensure that the arrangement remains playable even with a very reduced cast (11/12 voices). The flugelhorn is deliberately not left out.
As a supplement to this edition there is a 4-part set + piano that can be flexibly configured in the instrumentation.
This is compatible with the orchestral arrangement, so the vocal solo part can also be played by an instrumental trio/quartet. Various instrument registers can also appear as soloists (accompanied by a wind orchestra).
