Full version of Johann Strauss Sohn's most famous waltz. Sophisticated in its realisation, fantastically beautiful in its sound. Attention: score in A3/parts A4
In this arrangement, I have set myself the clear goal of coming as close as possible to the sound of a large symphony orchestra. The work was prepared for the first time with the LJBO Steiermark and (premiered) on 6 January 2016 in the Stefaniensaal Graz. We are looking for conductors and orchestras (decidedly E-level or selection orchestras) who enjoy developing the necessary sound facets and sound (mixes) for a successful realisation. The attached seating plan is the basis for an optimal realisation and must therefore be adhered to. The brass section should only be used once. I recommend tenor horn/baritone and flugelhorn in ‘Austrian’ construction.
