For the first time, and only here, “A Mensch möcht i bleibn” is available in a version for solo voice and wind band.
The lyrics are more relevant than ever, and Wolfgang Ambros performs this song at almost every one of his concerts.
The wind band arrangement is in the original key of G major and is also very playable for smaller bands. May this song, and with it the message it carries,
find its place in concert programs.
The arrangement was premiered on 12 September 2026 at the Werkshalle Strasser in St. Martin im Mühlkreis, performed by:
WIR4 – Ulli Bäer & Gary Lux & Harry Fendrich & Harry Stampfer, together with the Lions Club Rohrbach-Böhmerwald wind band, conducted by Harald Haselmayr.
The intro is played in this version, especially during live performances.
