In the summer of 2025, new compositions on the theme of “kitchen” were created for the project “New Literature for Brass Ensembles.” These short pieces (miniatures) were developed with experts (University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, HMDK Stuttgart, Graz Conservatory, Music Schools of Styria & Lower Austria, Liechtenstein Music School, etc.) and premiered on September 7, 2025, at the Liechtenstein Music School. experts (University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, HMDK Stuttgart, Graz Conservatory, Music Schools of Styria & Lower Austria, Liechtenstein Music School, etc.) and presented and performed on September 7, 2025.
The miniature 28 for brass quintet quotes themes by Franz von Suppé and Johann Strauss Jr.,
but focuses on the humorous element. Acting talent is an advantage, but not essential. It will be very funny anyway.
The menu includes a soup based on a recipe by Franz. Surprising scenes are guaranteed!
