Im Krapfenwaldl for brass 5-tet
As part of the long-term collaboration with the professional ensemble "graz chamber brass", numerous arrangements for brass quintet have been created. The present arrangement of "Im Krapfenwaldl" was commissioned for the "Vienna program" of this ensemble. This Polka française by Johann Strauss Jr. (1825-1899) can rightly be described as a "must-have" for the perfect concert program. A wonderful piece for the musical accompaniment of festive occasions - here in the brass quintet line-up: 2 trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba. The part of the "cuckoo" or the birdsong is usually taken on by people from the audience. Laughter is guaranteed.
